Hi, I’m Kerry Scharf—a personal trainer with over 20 years of experience specializing in medically informed, corrective, and functional training.  As a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist, I work with clients who want more than a workout—they want to move with confidence, reduce pain, prevent injury, and build strength that supports their everyday lives.

I began my personal training career in the wine country of California, where I spent 15 years working closely with clients managing orthopedic issues, chronic pain, post-rehabilitation needs, and age-related movement changes.  Even after relocating, I continue to train many of my California clients remotely and have expanded my remote coaching services to clients across the mainland United States—bringing personalized, medically grounded programming to wherever life takes you.

I now live and train clients in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, offering both in-person and remote training with a calm, intentional approach shaped by island living.  My work blends clinical knowledge with lifestyle-based movement, helping clients build resilient bodies that can handle the demands of daily life—whether that’s returning to activity after injury, staying active as you age, or simply moving better and feeling stronger.

Movement has always been central to who I am.  I’ve been an athlete my entire life, beginning with gymnastics, diving, and golf, then progressing to marathon running, century cycling rides, and strength training.  Since moving to Kona, I’ve taken on competitive outrigger paddling, deepening my understanding of performance, recovery, and longevity.

I believe that your health is your wealth.  My mission is to help you create a body that supports the life you want to live—strong, capable, and built to last.
